| Bradford Council to advise Government on climate change |

[...] Bradford Council has been selected to help the Government tackle climate change. A Council officer who has been involved in a pioneering project to reduce carbon emissions at the Kirkgate Shopping Centre in the city centre has been invited to a parliamentary inquiry to give evidence. Richard Isaac, from the Council's Environmental Policy Unit, will represent the Council at the All Party Urban Development Group's inquiry into climate change and the urban built environment on Monday (May 12). Bradford Council has been asked to take part in this inquiry to look into what cities can do to reduce the carbon emissions of commercial buildings - like the Kirkgate Shopping Centre.
