... Wed 02 Apr 2008 Community helps shape district's plans to tackle climate change Residents and businesses have given their views on a draft plan of action to tackle climate change in the district. The draft action plan has been drawn up by the council, as part of its responsibilities under the Nottingham Declaration on Climate Change, which it signed up to in November 2006. To make sure the plan is going to have a real impact on climate change and be something that others will support and participate in, the council has asked the community to help identify the actions that will have a positive effect and achieve the outcomes desired.
